About Us and Our Program

Mrs. Robin / Owner and Director: 

It all began at Chatsworth High School in 1987.
I chose “Careers with Children” as an elective in 10^th grade, and fell in love with working with kids.

After working for large corporate Childcare Centers such as Disney, Pinecrest Schools and Great Western Bank,
I decided to take my knowledge, experience and passion for teaching and start my own business.

“The Nest” was born in September 1999. I've been so fortunate and honored to be part of so many kids lives over the years. I still keep in contact with numerous Families; it's amazing feeling to hear how much they've grown and matured.  

My special training in early childhood education includes:

 My staff and I are certified in First-Aid, Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and we continue to update our skills annually.

Our Program

Robin's Nest Kid-Care offers a developmentally appropriate program addressing the emotional, physical, cognitive, and social needs of children.

Children are treated with respect and with the knowledge that every child is an individual. We promote self-esteem, while helping children develop positive feelings towards learning, other children and adults. Our program will prepare children for later life experiences and challenges.This program offers a variety of stimulating activities which includes:
