About Us and Our Program

The Philosophy of Robin's Nest Kidcare is to provide a safe, warm, nurturing and supportive environment for children. We feel children should have experiences in a comfortable and non-competitive atmosphere.  We strive to be aware of the needs and expectations  of the parents, and work to complement the family structure. We believe it is important to promote self-expression and creativity, while paying attention to the importance of a child's developing self-control and mutual respect. daycare childcare Chatsworth Granada Hills North Hills Northridge

Robin's Nest Kidcare offers a developmentally appropriate program addressing the emotional, physical, cognitive, and social needs of children.

Children are treated with respect and with the knowledge that every child is an individual. We promote self-esteem, while helping children develop positive feelings towards learning, other children and adults. Our program will prepare children for later life experiences and challenges.

Mrs. Robin - Owner and Director:

It all began at Chatsworth High School in 1987, I chose “Careers with Children” as an elective in 10th grade, and fell in love with working with kids.

After working for large Corporate Childcare Centers such as Disney, Pinecrest, and Great Western Bank, I decided to take my knowledge, experience and passion for teaching and start my own business.

“The Nest” was born in September 1999. I've been  fortunate and honored to be part of so many kids lives over the years. I still keep in contact with numerous Families; it's amazing feeling to hear how much they've grown and matured.

My training in early childhood education includes:
*CD30 Human Development
*CD40 Child/Family/Community
*CD54 Literature with Children
*CD41 Early Childhood Programs
*CD52 Art in Early Childhood
*CD32 Child Nutrition/Health/Safety
*CD38 Practicum 1-ECE Observation
*CD36 Equity Issues in ECE
